Pat Stanley as Dora and Mark Dawson as Officer Floyd McDuff (in plainclothes) at center sing the "I Love A Cop" reprise on the city street, Act I, Scene 9. They later marry in Act II and move into a penthouse based off Floyds earnings. Floyd acts as the metaphor for the corrupt man who climbs his way up the Jimmy Walker political organization ladder despite his dim wit.
